This year Buckland Art Group members are organising an exhibition of their work and that of other local artists. Original paintings in different media and craft work by local makers will be for sale at very reasonable prices. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and sample home-made cakes whilst viewing a large selection of local creativity. An ideal opportunity to treat yourself or buy a present for a friend.
Buckland Art Group members are a mix of both amateur and semi-professional artists, working in a variety of media including water colours, acrylics, oils, and textiles, with a shared passion of painting and creating for pleasure. The art group meets on alternate Monday evenings in the village hall and paints at every session. Established local artists also give demonstrations, opening new avenues of creativity for members.
Members of the group also attend other local groups, so our other exhibitors include our tutors, and friends from art groups in Bere Ferrers, Walkhampton and Whitchurch. Details of all the local groups will be available, and anyone who is interested in joining one or more of the groups is welcome to make contact at the exhibition.
