Tavistock Photography Club is holding an exhibition in Butchers’ Hall in Tavistock from 10am to 4pm.
Entry is free and all are welcome to come and view our members’ work.
The club was formed in 1971 and has a healthy membership of approximately 40 people with varying abilities in photography.
We welcome members of all levels to join us and enhance their photographic skills. This last season has been very successful with a variety of speakers and informal workshop evenings, as well as topics from photo books to Cyanotype, known as the TWITS (The Weeks In Between Sessions) which are run and presented by members for members. The club was also involved with The Sabine Baring-Gould anniversary, working alongside The Edge performers, and there will be a selection of the photographs used at this year’s exhibition.
We meet on a fortnightly basis on Wednesday evenings at the United Reformed Church in Russell Street, 7.30 - 9.30pm. You can find more details on our website at tavistockphotographyclub.co.uk - our new website was built by one of our newer members and is updated regularly.
