Magpie Barn opens its doors

Magpie Barn, the fabulous sister company of Two for Joy Bridal, has recently opened its doors to the delight of its customers.

The barn, located behind the bridal studio, is a treasure trove of gowns, occasion wear, hats, shoes, bags and more. As with the bridal gowns, all clothing is ex-display and clearance with a small selection of pre-loved. There is also a fabulous range of gifts, jewellery and cards.

The location of the barn and studio on Tregondale Farm near Liskeard, offers privacy in a relaxing and beautiful location. Magpie Barn has floor to ceiling windows looking onto a balcony with views over a beautiful pond and open countryside. There are a few tables where you can sit and have a complimentary coffee or tea; a great opportunity to have a bridal appointment at Two for Joy, relax with a cup of tea and refreshments and then move on to Magpie Barn for a browse of the occasion wear. 

The team celebrated their opening with a VIP reception on the evening of 23 October. The hats were certainly enjoyed by all and the feedback so far has been excellent. 

Owner Joanne Vanstone said: "We have found that people are very frustrated by the lack of places to shop and enjoy some social time together, so our tables with a view are also going down well. The loss of shops such as Debenhams is certainly being felt, so I am hopeful that as word spreads Magpie Barn will be a place to shop and have lots of laughs too."

The Bridal studio remains open by appointment only, whereas Magpie Barn is open for drop in between 10am and 4pm every Wednesday and Saturday and by appointment for the rest of the week.

In the same vein as Two for Joy Bridal, fabulous value for money, a stunning location and a barn full of laughter is on offer.
