Wedding Awards Success for Local Hotels
Two top Devon hotels under the same local ownership are celebrating success in this year’s South West Wedding Awards.
- Two Bridges Hotel crowned “Best Country Wedding Venue”
- The Bedford Hotel “Best Town Wedding Venue” finalist
Wedding industry professionals from across the South West came together for a glittering awards ceremony in Plymouth last week, where the region’s best wedding venues and services were celebrated.
For the second year running, the Two Bridges Hotel in the heart of Dartmoor was crowned Best Country Wedding Venue, following a count-up of votes by recent brides and grooms. The unique Dartmoor riverside location, traditional country-house charm and award-winning dining based around local ingredients are at the heart of the hotel’s wedding day proposition.
Sister hotel The Bedford Hotel in Tavistock made it to the finals in the Best Town Wedding category, with its striking and contemporary Gallery 26 complementing the historic hotel’s elegant ambience and award-winning food.
