Boringdon Hall launches Winter Olympic themed Special Edition Afternoon Tea

The historic manor house hotel in Plympton will be serving a Winter Olympics Edition Afternoon Tea from Thursday 1st February.

The original Special Edition Afternoon Tea celebrates the joy of the Winter Olympics, in the warmth of the grand Great Hall, with a carefully crafted menu of themed delights, edible gold medal included.

With a nod to the snowy scenes of the games, guests will enjoy an Olympic themed cookie, gold medal caramel tart, coconut snowball and Olympic torch cone. Freshly baked scones and a selection of teas will complete the selection of sweet treats in this ‘cool’ afternoon tea.

The savoury side will include fresh dressed crab in iceberg lettuce, ham finger sandwiches, cucumber and cream cheese fingers sandwiches, coronation chicken vol au vonts and a flavoursome antipasti tart.

Why not try something different this February and support Team GB and the Olympic Games with afternoon of indulgence and luxury at the historic Boringdon Hall. Pre-booking is essential, as the Special Edition Afternoon Teas are very popular. The Special Edition Afternoon Tea is served from 12pm-5pm until the end of February and costs £27 per person, or £39 with champagne.
