Boringdon Hall to serve a Beatrix Potter themed Afternoon Tea throughout January

The manor house hotel in Plympton will be serving a Beatrix Potter Special Edition Afternoon Tea from Wednesday 3rd January.

The Special Edition Afternoon Tea perfectly encapsulates the joy and spirit of the beloved Beatrix Potter stories and characters.

Guests will enjoy McGregor’s cabbage patch - a tempting chocolate brownie topped with a luxurious champagne truffle, Peter Rabbit’s naughty but nice carrot cake and delightful Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck shaped cookies. Freshly baked scones and a selection of teas will complete the selection of sweet treats in this charming afternoon tea.

The savoury side will include ham finger sandwiches, cucumber and cream cheese fingers sandwiches, coronation chicken vol au vonts and fresh dressed crab in gem lettuce.

The perfect pick me up for the January blues, an afternoon of indulgence and luxury at the historic hotel.

Pre-booking is essential, as the Special Edition Afternoon Teas are very popular. The Special Edition Afternoon Tea is served from 12pm-5pm until the end of January and costs £27 per person, or £39 with champagne.
