LOCAL CHARITY IN URGENT NEED OF VOLUNTEERS WITH COMPUTER SKILLS

The Plymouth and West Devon Talking Newspaper is a local charity, based in Tavistock, run by volunteers providing a weekly audio recording of local news to people with impaired sight in Plymouth and West Devon. Through the dedication of these volunteers the organisation has been able to continue providing this service throughout the pandemic. The service is provided free of charge and has proved to be a vital lifeline for many vulnerable people over the last 18 months.

However the charity is now in urgent need of volunteers with some computer skills to help record the weekly news, without whom the Talking Newspaper may not be able to survive.

Anyone interested please contact the Hon. Secretary on 01822 618 922.
