Cherry Tree Planting

To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, the Buckland Monachorum Parish Council arranged the planting of a cherry tree in the Parish meadow at Buckland Monachorum. The tree was donated by Celia Steven and planted by the Parish Council's Chairman, Martin Fowler ably supported by people from around the Parish. Why not pay a visit to the meadow (just above the church)? It's a great place for a picnic with two newly installed picnic tables and you might bump into the Buckland Food Growers' sheep too.
