COVID 19 Hardship Grants Fund

The trustees of Okehampton United Charity are pleased to announce the launch of a fund to help those suffering hardship in the current pandemic circumstances.

Do you live in Okehampton or Hamlets (Brightley, Southcott, Meldon or Stockley)?

Have you or a member of your household, since the 23rd March and as a direct result of the governments Coronavirus measures, either;

If so, the COVID 19 Hardship Grants Fund can provide a grant of up to £250 (one per household). The fund will run until the 31st May 2020 and may be extended if local need continues.

To apply, you will need to provide evidence of job or work loss, or an endorsement from an independent person (see local organisations below who may be able to offer endorsements) To find out more please contact Karen Percival on clerk@okehamptoncharities.org.uk or 01837 55179.

Okehampton United Charity are working with local organisations like the Foodbank, Okehampton Coronavirus (Covid 19) Volunteer Group, Okehampton Medical Centre, Citizens Advice and West Devon CVS to promote the fund.
