DARTMOOR HOTEL SUPPORTS AIR AMBULANCE WITH A DEVON FOOD SHOWCASE

The famous and historic Two Bridges Hotel in the heart of Dartmoor has pledged its support for the Devon Air Ambulance with a charity dinner to be held later this year.

Award-winning Executive Chef Mike Palmer has created an exceptional five- course menu showcasing some of the best Devon produce of the season, and the menu will be paired with fine wines from the hotel’s cellars.

All profits from the black-tie dinner, on Thursday 5th October, will be donated to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Mike Coombes, Sales and Marketing Manager at Warm Welcome Hotels, commented: “Given the location of the Two Bridges Hotel, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, we are very well aware of the vital role played by the Devon Air Ambulance in bringing urgent medical aid to those in need, often in testing flying conditions. Our charity dinner is a great opportunity for us to support this brilliant organisation, whilst also showcasing the superb Devon food and fine wines we offer at the Two Bridges Hotel.”

Devon Air Ambulance Fundraising Director, Caroline Creer, commented: “We are extremely grateful to the Two Bridges Hotel for choosing to support Devon Air Ambulance with this fantastic event. It is with thanks to support such as this that we celebrate 25 years of service this year. It is very fitting that the Two Bridges Hotel should choose to support Devon Air Ambulance; our aircrews cross the stunning location of Dartmoor to reach our patients as quickly as possible to ensure they get the best medical care before conveying them to the most appropriate hospital. We’re sure the charity dinner will be a fabulous evening and we hope that everyone has an enjoyable time.”

Tickets for the charity dinner are on sale now from the Two Bridges Hotel on 01822 892300, priced at £47.50 per person including five course dinner and matched wines.
