GAIA SPA LAUNCHES NEW TREATMENT COLLECTIONS

Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall in Devon have launched a new collection of treatments, named after the Greek Gods. The new collections will embrace the true meaning of Gaia and its core values as the brand evolves over a year on from opening.

Day guests can choose from a selection of new treatment collections from Aphrodite to Apollo, Harmonia to Hypnos.

The ‘Aphrodite’, goddess of beauty, focuses on results-driven treatments and includes a Fire & Ice facial with LED therapy, a blow-dry and 60-minute manicure and pedicure.

The ‘Amaltheia’, goddess of nurturing, includes a specialist Wellness for Cancer massage, tailored to the individual. People going through or recovering from cancer treatments are encouraged to have this treatment and use the spa’s facilities.

The ‘Hypnos’, god of sleep and relaxation, is dedicated to help people unwind and leave stresses behind, for those who are struggling with sleep and switching off. The package includes a 90-minute Pure Full Body Massage and 60-minute Gaia Jade Facial.

The ‘Zeus & Hera’, god of sky & thunder and goddess of women, the couple’s day includes a 90-minute treatment followed by Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in a private relaxation room.

Shelley Hepburn, who has been Spa Director at Gaia Spa since last August is proud to introduce guests to the new collection.

Hepburn said: “Gaia, or Mother Earth, was the first Greek god - healing, nurturing and supporting all life. It seemed fitting to name our new treatment collections after her fellow Greek gods and goddesses. The therapies and treatments at Gaia Spa are more than ‘pampering’, it’s about total wellness and it was important that our treatment collections reflected that”.

In the lead-up to launching the collections, Gaia’s team of therapists have gone through the ‘Gaia Academy’ and coaching, learning new massage techniques and focusing more on the healing elements of massage and the importance of self-care.

Hepburn continued: “Gaia Spa is a place where guests should feel protected, looked after and cared for. How we care and nurture our therapists is so important as they are the ones caring for our guests. Spa therapies can be life changing if therapists are truly connected themselves”.

The new collections are available to book now and start from £120. Treatments can be booked by calling 01752 344455.
