Okehampton’s Edwardian Evening

Christmas has officially started in Okehampton! 

The town’s atmospheric annual Edwardian Evening, staged by the Chamber of Trade,  saw hundreds of locals and visitors coming to the centre of town to see the town’s Christmas lights being switched on and to join this popular annual event.

Street musicians, choirs, a fantastic vintage barrel organ as well as Santa on his ‘Round Table’ sleigh all added to the atmosphere.

Rudolph and Blitzen were there too (thanks to Rowlands Reindeer Company) – much to the delight of local children – and adults alike!
