Matthew joined GA Solicitors in 2015 as an associate from a regional law firm. He has nearly a decade of experience in private client works, including trusts, probate, tax planning, wills and powers of attorney. Specialising in advising business owners on tax efficient succession planning, optimising inheritance tax reliefs and creating trusts to mitigate tax and protect assets, Matthew has now supported a high number of business people across the city and beyond.

About the promotion, Stephen Ramsden, managing partner of GA solicitors commented: “Matthew has always provided clear and high quality advice to his clients and, due to his levels of professionalism and client service, has established a strong network of referrers in the legal, accountancy and financial management sectors.

“He is a valued team member with a strong commercial mind which, combined with his high levels of commitment, makes him a real asset to the firm and a very worthy partner.”

Matthew Rose added: “The last few years at GA have allowed me to develop both as a solicitor and as an individual. The firm has supported me through extra qualifications and allowed me to have insight into both the business and its management.

“I am delighted to have been named a partner of the firm and for the hard work I have undertaken to be recognised in such a manner. GA Solicitors is undoubtedly one of the most forward-thinking firms in the city and I am excited to be playing a part in its future.”
