Following Arts Council England’s decision not to renew Plymouth Arts Centre’s status as a National Portfolio Organisation for 2018-2022, PAC’s Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team are working hard to ensure a sustainable future so that the organisation’s work can continue.

Transitional Director Helen Pearson said “We are deeply moved by the ideas, suggestions, and warmth of support we are receiving from staff, peers and public, many of whom have been enjoying Plymouth Arts Centre for years. We will be asking this community to work with us in the coming months as we reshape the organisation for the future. 2018 will be a transitional year for Plymouth Arts Centre. It is a well established charitable organisation and we are surveying all possible options to ensure a sustainable future in the short and long term. We appreciate the uncertainty this creates for staff, audiences and partners whilst we undergo these investigations but would like to reassure that we will make further announcements as soon as we can.”
