Rotary Club of Tavistock Charity Golf Day Wednesday 17th May 2017

Special announcement from Rotary Club of Tavistock President, Catherine Bailey

We have arranged this year’s Golf Day on Wednesday 17th May 2017 at

Tavistock Golf Club.

Since our Golf Days started, we have raised over £40,000 for local and

international charities.

This year, our charity is PDLF - the Plymouth and District Leukaemia Fund.

It is vital that the dedicated staff helping patients, in turn, have access to the

best equipment available. Tavistock Rotary Club has teamed up with PDLF

and have challenged ourselves, in the next two years, to buy 5 new

computerised chemotherapy pumps for the Hospital.

Each pump costs over £2,000. Our target for the Golf Day is to raise

sufficient money to buy two chemotherapy pumps from the proceeds of the

2017 Charity Day. We call this our Chemotherapy Challenge

Play golf, or sponsor the day, and save lives!

We appreciate all of the support that our friends and local businesses have

given to our chosen charities over the years, and we hope that you will be

able to support this wonderful cause this year. I attach the relevant details

and would like to thank you in advance if you are entering a team or

providing sponsorship.

Yours
