Talon Acoustic

Over the last twenty years Talon have risen from humble beginnings to become one of the most successful theatre touring shows in the UK.

Talon have always taken the responsibility of their mission statement very seriously and in essence that mantra remains a simple one… “To faithfully re-create the music of the Eagles with honesty, respect and reverence”.

They have certainly taken some calculated risks over the years and truly believe that if they hadn’t done so then they would not be enjoying the stunning success that they experience today.

Unfortunately they never had the honour of meeting the late great Glenn Frey, but they did get to meet his best friend and hit songwriter of ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’, ‘Already Gone’, ‘The Girl From Yesterday’, ‘It’s Your World Now’ and many other Eagles classics.

Talon have experienced some exhilarating highs, some devastating lows and worked very hard over the last two decades so it was to be a massive thrill when, last summer, they were nominated in seven different categories by the ‘Agents Association of Great Britain’ at the ‘National Tribute Music Awards’ and winning ‘OFFICIAL UK No. 1’ (Eagles tribute show), ‘MARKETING & PR’, ‘LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD’ and the big one… ‘BEST BAND’ (in all categories).

This year, ‘In The Raw’ will feature may Eagles classics with breathtakingly beautiful acoustic arrangements, plus their own personal favourites in a brand new show for 2018. Following the massive success of their critically acclaimed studio and ‘LIVE’ acoustic albums, ‘Talon- The Acoustic Collection’ is back with their most extensive tour to date.

“If you have not seen this show before then you are in for a real treat. Sat on bar stools and armed with no more than their trademark four part vocal harmony, acoustic instruments and laid back banter, Talon will leave you spellbound”.

“Essential listening if you appreciate great musicianship, major label production standards and the tightest harmonies you will hear this side of Crosby, Stills & Nash”
