Meavy Amateur Dramatics (MAD) is proud to announce their 2018 pantomime: The Hunchback of Old Meavy Town!

Set in 1780, Meavy has been fortunate to win the International Town of Enlightenment and Culture and, as part of festivities, a glorious bell ringing competition will be held. The auspicious event has attracted the attention of a variety of perhaps familiar world leaders, who are desperate to win the most sought after of bell ringing prizes.

To this backdrop, an uneasy relationship unfolds between a beautiful (but on the inside only!) Queasymodo and the beguiling Esmerelda. But will Queasymodo win his true love, or will she be distracted by a mysterious and handsome soldier who is betrothed to another?
