We’re here for you - can you help us?

By the Citizen's Advice Bureau

We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating, never more so than in the last 15 months.  We believe no-one should have to face these problems alone, without good quality, independent advice.

We continue to help everyone who needs it and we have now reintroduced a face-to-face service for the most vulnerable of our clients, although we are not currently able to offer a drop-in service.

If you or someone you know needs help and is unable to make contact through our telephone, email or Facebook Messenger services, we have a post box service in the Ockment Centre in Okehampton.

The post box is accessible in the main entrance of the Ockment Centre when it is open. You complete a contact slip and post it and someone will be in touch within 3 working days.

So how can you help?

People volunteer with CAB for all sorts of reasons, such as employability, to meet new people, keeping your mind active or just wanting to give something back. We are looking for new volunteers to join us, working either in the local office or remotely from home to grow our Okehampton team.

If you would like to find out more, please contact us at trainingofficer@ruraldevoncab.org.uk or call 01237 879152.
