Meavy Madness Run

At the end of summer term Meavy School invited all primary school age children to run the inaugural Meavy Madness run. Children from reception to year 6, from 11 different schools ran in glorious sunshine through the woods above Meavy School along three exciting courses of 1km, 2km and 5km. All the participants were incredibly impressive from the older children braving the heat, gradients and gorse on the 5km, to the youngest children giving their parents a run for their money. Many children were taking part in their first race and all were suitably proud of themselves and their finishers’ medal. We hope to see even more of you at the 2018 Meavy Madness Run!
