My First Poem

The preschool children at the Bambinos, Tavistock nursery have written their own poems and they have been published into a beautiful book! The Devon Poets initiative helps promote the enjoyment of reading and writing and it has certainly sparked some fantastic learning at the nursery. The children wrote poems called ‘All About Me’ and they have all appeared in the Devon Poets book ‘My First Poem’. We are very proud of the children’s efforts and wonderful words and we shall continue to take part in this each year.
