Chris Hoban’s 1918 at National Park Visitor Centre

On 7 November, the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown will host a performance by Chris Hoban, one of the leading songwriters of the south west's folk tradition.  Chris will present songs from his latest album 1918, inspired by untold stories of The Great War including No ParadesThe Padre and The Lily and the Rose. Chris is enjoying a growing reputation as a solo performer and multi-instrumentalist, accompanying himself on guitar, piano accordion, mandocello or ‘cello. After the interval you can join in with a reverie of songs from the trenches, helped along by some of the popular Mariners Away shanty singers The performance has been arranged by the Dartmoor Trust in conjunction with Dartmoor National Park Authority. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm and the event will finish at 9.30pm. There are only 75 seats, so booking is essential with all tickets at £10.00.
