December 16th at 7:30pm Stannary Brass Band Christmas Concert

Angela Rippon CBE, the patron of Tavistock Stannary Brass Band, will be hosting this year’s Christmas Concert in St Eustachius’ Church. The concert will involve a mix of traditional Christmas music, brass band pieces and carols, giving the audience a chance to raise the roof in this wonderful venue. Guest performers this year will be members of the Calstock-based Rubber Tube band who will be performing under the name of The Inner Tube! The Inner Tube will be entertaining everyone with seasonal songs and music as well as some audience participation.

This very popular annual event is supported by Stags Estate Agents, Fairway Furniture as well as the Lions Club of Tavistock. Tickets are available from Stags in Tavistock, priced at £7 per adult and £2 for under 18s.

Stannary Brass Band, based in Tavistock, enjoys taking part in local events throughout the year such as parades, services, concerts, weddings and fetes. We provide opportunities for young people to learn to play an instrument and perform in public. Since our formation in 1995 we have promoted family inclusion and instruments are available for anyone from the age of 6 upwards who would like to learn to play. Beginners and experienced players are welcome and can join either the training band or main band. Progression to the Devon County Youth Brass Band is encouraged.
