Time to get creative

If your New Year’s resolution is to ‘get creative’ then why not try one of the popular, fun Art for All courses on Wednesday afternoons at the Ockment Centre?

Funded by the National Lottery and Okehampton United Charities, these four-week courses will introduce participants to a wide range of different art techniques and are a great way of meeting new likeminded people. 

The courses are led by a skilled tutor from West Devon Art Workshops and at just £8 for the whole course they are affordable to all incomes.

In January there is a course exploring collage and mixed media painting to create fun, decorative townscape images.

In February there is a course introducing the basics of watercolour painting and in March you could explore combining collage with stitch.
