West Dartmoor Art Group Exhibition
West Dartmoor Art Group, WDAG, will be holding its annual exhibition of local works of art produced by members of the group over the course of the year. Over the years the group has raised thousands of pounds for charity and this year will be raising money for two charities with a raffle in aid of The Dartmoor Rescue Group and The Devon Air Ambulance Trust. WDAG has also been working on a collective piece of work on a large canvas, using acrylics in an amazing array of shapes, colours, textures and styles. The group plans to display the work publicly for the first time at the exhibition before donating it to a local charity. For now, the subject of the painting and its lucky recipient are under wraps, so come along to the exhibition to see the secret unveiled!
Entry to the exhibition is free and it will be open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm in Peter Tavy Village Hall (exhibition closes at 4:00pm on 29th July). The tea rooms will also be providing the usual mouth-watering array of homemade cakes lovingly baked by members and their partners. We look forward to seeing you in Peter Tavy in July.
