Jubilee Afternoon Tea Sunday 5th June 2022

The Bedford Hotel are providing a special afternoon tea to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in the elegant surroundings of The Bedford Hotel.

They will be offering a glass of traditional Pimms on arrival - how terribly British - and then invite you to enjoy a selection of dainty sandwiches, their traditional scones with luscious jam and clotted cream, their home-made cakes of the day, and plenty of tea and coffee.

Sarah Howard of the Bedford Hotel said "Afternoon tea will be served in the bright and airy Portrait Room (spilling into our front garden, if the weather is in our favour), and in the atmospheric oak-panelled Tavistock Room. Take your time - our traditional afternoon tea is to be savoured in good company - and do feel free to enjoy our pretty front garden, or our ancient Walled Garden for the afternoon. The bar will be open as usual for your refreshment".
