KIDS ENCOURAGED TO CLIMB THE WALLS THIS HOLIDAY AS CLIP ‘N CLIMB INTRODUCES NEW BOREDOM-BUSTING SCORING SYSTEM IN PLYMOUTH THIS SUMMER!

With the start of the school summer holidays fast approaching, a popular local family attraction is urging families not to stay at home climbing the walls with boredom, but to climb walls in a whole new and exciting way! The indoor climbing centre, Clip ‘n Climb, is launching an epic new scoring system that is completely exclusive to Plymouth.

The centre will be debuting Clip ‘n Score, which is a piece of new technology that takes speed, strength and endurance into account to give climbers a score on all of the climbing walls and challenges. Customers can record their speed and race to the top against themselves and others in a competition for the best ranked climber. Plymouth will be the first Clip ‘n Climb in Europe to test the new bit of tech, which will be yet another new addition to the busy centre that has 44 vertical challenges.

Assistant Manager, Laura Gemmell, said: “Everyone loves a bit of competition, and the new Clip ‘n Score system is going to open a whole new avenue for our climbers, by giving them the option to race against their family and friends.

“The system is really cool; it will record the times of everyone’s climb on all of our vertical challenges and keep that individual’s score saved – so they can come back and try and beat their own records or challenge against their friends.

“For the system to be completely exclusive to the Plymouth centre is amazing. Clip ‘n Climb has over 150 centres globally and this system will filter out to all of them in good time, but for now it’s only our climbers that get to use it, which we think is especially exciting.

“Earlier this year, we were the first centre to feature the new climbing line, Ascendor, which has already gone down fantastically well with our customers. We’re confident that our customers are going to love our new scoring system too.

Clip ‘n Climb also have some deals and offers available this summer, including a Summer Pass, giving customers six climbs for just £49 – saving £29 – to be used throughout the summer holidays.
