DARTMOOR HOTEL SHOWCASES LOCAL ALES AND HEARTY DEVON FAYRE FOR NATIONAL CASK ALE WEEK The

The historic and award-winning Two Bridges Hotel, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, is celebrating national Cask Ale Week (22nd September - 2nd October 2016) by pairing local Dartmoor ales with hearty Devon fayre.

The Two Bridges Hotel has recently been recognised for the quality of its ale offering with an industry-endorsed Cask Marque award.

The Cask Marque ensures that cask ales served in hotels, bars and pubs across the UK, are in perfect condition. Cask Marque assessors travel the length and breadth of the British Isles to check the temperature, appearance, flavour and aroma of the beers on offer.

Throughout Cask Ale Week, the Two Bridges Hotel will be offering specially priced ale-and-food combinations to tempt the taste buds of locals and visitors alike. Lunchtime choices include a classic ploughman’s lunch with a pint of Jail Ale, and Dartmoor beef and Jail Ale pudding. An indulgent sticky toffee pudding and taster of Three Hares Ale are available lunchtimes and evenings.

Jared Lothian, General Manager at the Two Bridges Hotel, commented: “Brilliant Dartmoor ales and the finest Devon food are the perfect match, and make a particularly excellent lunchtime treat here at the Two Bridges Hotel. We are looking forward to celebrating Cask Ale Week, and welcoming our regulars and new visitors to our beautiful Dartmoor location.”

The featured ales all come from the hotel’s sister company, Dartmoor Brewery, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to local food and drink.

The Two Bridges Hotel offers luxury accommodation, award-winning dining, traditional Devon Cream Teas, and fine Dartmoor ales, in a stunning setting beside the West Dart River in the heart of Dartmoor National Park.
