Devon Food Movement is working in partnership with Ashridge Court to

bring our first BIG COLLABORATION event to fruition. This collaboration

is taking place on 08/09/18 and will feature many local artisans and some

of the South West’s best chefs (see lists below) The evening will start with a

canape and drinks reception sponsored by local winery, Eastcott Vineyard.

This will be followed by a short stroll to the Ashridge Great Barn through

the arboretum, where guests shall enjoy an 8-course journey menu that will

allow them to taste some of the best, hyper-local food around. A ticket for

the evening will cost just £35 with drinks being poured from 5:45pm.

Booking for this event will be essential and all bookings should be directed

to 07562260052 or info@ashridge-court.co.uk

Devon Food Movement is a collaborative pop-up restaurant concept set up

by former Michelin star development chef Luke Fearon. Our company aim

is to celebrate Devon’s unique and world class produce through a series of

temporary dining experiences, where we link talented local chefs, producers

and food heroes with restaurants, farms or unique locations throughout

Devon (and sometimes a little beyond).

At all these events we produce and serve small plated set menus to allow

diners to explore a true taste of each location at any given time within the

season. The premise for most Devon Food Movement events is the ‘five-mile

food’ challenge. This is where collaborators are challenged to find as many

prime ingredients from within a five-mile radius of the event location to

feature on our menus. This keeps us hyper-local, hyper-seasonal and

untamed in our approach to what we believe fine Devon food is all about.

The Ashridge Great Barn, at Ashridge Court, is a medieval barn set in the

heart of a working farm epitomising everything that the Devon Landscape

has to offer. From ancient woodlands, to the soaring conifers of the

Victorian arboretum and agricultural pasture, Ashridge has it all. This newly

developed wedding and events venue is brimming with rustic charm and will

create a magical setting for our first evening collaboration. What better

than to enjoy the taste of a Devon summer at its heart?

Chefs involved in the Journey menu include;

The team from Sauté & Spice, will deliver canapes on arrival

Tom Browning, From Lewtrenchard Manor, Lewdown

James Mason, Kentisbury Grange, near Barnstable

Ethan Clarke, The Salutation Inn, Topsham

closely with nature and create the best, seasonal offering we can. However

please follow our journey online at www.devonfoodmovement.com or
