Help out your local community and become a carer with NEDCare

NEDCare

NEDCare is a care charity committed to the community which is on the lookout for equally dedicated people to join the team.

NEDCare provides care at home in the local community, enabling clients who wish to remain in their own homes to do so for as long as possible. From ensuring care visits are never rushed, to paying staff for travel time in between clients, the company looks after both its clients and carers.

Mags Naylor, NEDCare’s CEO, said: ‘This is a difficult time for the care industry, what with the implications of Covid and the changing government stance on social care, and we are struggling to offer support for everyone who needs it in our local community. Even if you’ve never considered a career in care before, you could be just who we are looking for.’

NEDCare provides full training and ongoing support, and pays above the living wage, with enhanced rates for experience, evening and weekend work. It values the ethos of their carers over formal qualifications. NEDCare’s Registered Manager, Simon, added: ‘Your attitude, your values and why you want to make a difference to other people’s lives are the most important things to us.’ NEDCare has a range of hours available and can give flexible shifts to work around your schedule. Simon continued: ‘Whether you want to work 4 or 40 hours per week, we can accommodate you. Just give us a ring to see if being a carer is right for you.’
