Escape to Lydford Gorge this summer

Escape to Lydford Gorge this summer

With summer in full swing how about escaping? We’ve got options whatever the weather. Too hot? Seek out the shade of the trees that fill the gorge. Too wet? Head under the trees again; find protection from the worst of the rain as well as a temperate rain forest to explore.

We’ve also got you covered if you need to top up on picnic supplies. The shop has a lovely range of bamboo picnicware as well as reusable drinking straws, stainless steel water bottles and beeswax wraps. Then you can pick up some tasty extras from the tea-room or perhaps treat yourself to an ice cream.

If the picnic and hike haven’t worn the family out there are also loads of activities to get involved in.
