As we approach Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, it’s a timely reminder that millions of households across the UK are struggling to afford the energy they need to stay warm and healthy. Currently, 6 million households are in fuel poverty, spending 10% or more of their income on energy bills, which have risen to an average of £1,717 under the Ofgem price cap.
To raise awareness, we’re offering support through our Bills & Chills service. Join us for a free drop-in session with our home energy advisors at TASS Community Cafe, Tavistock, PL19 0AL on Wednesday, 27th November, from 10:00–12:00. Our team will provide impartial advice on managing energy bills, reducing costs, and improving home energy efficiency.
If you can’t make it, you can call us for free, impartial advice or arrange a retrofit home visit. We’re here to help ensure you’re not paying more than you need for your energy.
