Regional law firm, GA Solicitors, has celebrated record growth this year with both turnover and profit at their highest ever levels, as well as increasing its headcount by more than 25% since the start of the calendar year.
The financial success of the firm has enabled GA Solicitors, which has been headquartered in Plymouth for more than 200 years, to increase its headcount to 87 across its two offices. This is an uplift of more than 25% since January 2021. This figure is expected to increase further as the firm moves into the next calendar year with the business actively recruiting in several areas.
All areas of the firm have seen positive growth year on year with new recruits being taken on in residential conveyancing, marketing, renewable energy, dispute resolution, family and property litigation.
Three new trainee solicitors have also been employed as part of the firm’s commitment to develop the next generation of solicitors and home grow its own legal talent. The trainees (Victoria Broom, Niall Rundle and Caitlin Weeks) now each support the commercial, personal injury and private client departments.

GA Solicitors is a multi-million pound law firm employing 87 members of staff across its two offices (Plymouth and Bath). It is actively recruiting for at least three more members of staff including a tax specialist, contentious probate lawyer and a property solicitor.
