This year, after a two year break, to kick-start carnival week will be Moretonhampstead Carnival’s local Food and Drink Festival. This exciting event will be held on Saturday, 20 August from 10am until 4pm. We have many of last year’s favourites returning including Papillion Dartmoor Gin and Passion for Pie with many new additions such as Sophies Bangin Bakes and Simon's Kitchen!
There will also be a variety of exhibitors eager to showcase their goods.
Sam Parkin, from the committee, said: ‘Come along and join us as we are extremely proud of our town and carnival and we are looking forward to showing you what we have to offer.’
Entry to the festival is free of charge for everyone. The festival will be held in Cross Street. There are two public car parks in Moretonhampstead and additional parking will be signposted.
To keep up to date with all stalls go to Moretonhampstead Carnival Food Festival on Facebook. All proceeds from this event will go to Moretonhampstead Carnival which supports local charities.
