For as long as I can remember, flowers and the English landscape have held me captive. Form, colour and structure inspired me to create designs from an early age. I originally trained in London with Moyses Stevens in Barclay Square and Sloane Street followed by six years in Paris at Disney, where I was also influenced by fabulous designers such as Chistian Tortu and Pierre Brinon's shop, Mille Feuilles, with its exciting array of vintage containers. In 2011 I embraced the opportunity to become one of the few British Master Florists in the country, studying with the hugely talented Tina Parkes at the Academy of Floral Art in Exeter, which I loved so much I am thrilled to be (as well as a wedding florist), one of their tutors, teaching professional floristry.
My passion is to create gorgeously creative and unique wedding flowers, where inspiration is drawn from the personal reflection of each couples unique vision. At Amanda Randell Floral Design we are committed to styling and designing bespoke wedding flowers in the West Country and further afield, where we take enormous pride in delivering any manner of floral schemes, be it rustic, eclectic, abundant, wild or elegant, contemporary or traditional, (the list goes on), enhancing the overall ambiance but above all, creating deeply romantic wedding flowers.
All flowers are fascinating and wonderful and are sourced both locally from my new venture, the Tamar Valley Flower Farm in Cornwall and/or from the auction houses in Holland where flowers can be found from anywhere in the world i.e. King Protea from South Africa and Lotus seed heads in Australia to Edelweiss from Austria, the choices are all yours. The benefits of choosing a qualified florist is that whatever your style vision is, it can be delivered by Amanda Randell.
